Maine Missile Math & Science Club will be hosting a Launch Event at Tuckahoe Turf Farm on Hubbard
Road in Berwick, Maine July 23rd OR Rain date July 24th
PARKING will be near the Launch area but up wind and up range. It will be marked, stay on dirt road until you
get to the parking.
It is a turf farm we can WALK anywhere to retrieve rockets, but we can only drive on roads and will park on a designated wild
grass spot.
We will start SIGN IN at 09:00 and start launching as soon as we have it all set up.
On the wild grass area we can set up; shade tents, chairs, tables.
THERE IS NO RESTROOM/PORT -A- POTY AT THE LAUNCH AREA. It is in the main office of the turf farm across Hubbard Road. There are separate women’s and men’s rooms.
NO FIRES, NO FIREWORKS, until next year, NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING/PARKING, TRASH CARRY IN / CARRY OUT
SMALL Charcoal Grills are a maybe? There may be a designated area for their use.
This Launch Site can accommodate LPR to HPR but for our first Launch Event lets go with LPR and MPR.
